Marketplace guide

Use the marketplace to install ready-made services such as databases, content management systems, monitoring tools and team software quickly. Each application is created with initial settings, required variables, ports and persistent storage where needed. The service owner remains responsible for passwords, application updates, backups and access control. Before installation, determine what data the application stores, whether it needs a public domain, its resource requirements and how to recover from failures.

Important considerations

Automatic persistent volumes

Applications that store data are created with volumes so restarting or stopping the service does not erase that data. A volume is still not a substitute for a backup: accidental record deletion, an application error or an incorrect configuration change can corrupt valid data.

Automatic SSL certificate issuance and renewal

Applications with a web interface receive an HTTPS address, and certificates are managed automatically. If you connect a custom domain, configure DNS correctly, then test page loading, HTTPS redirects and the administrator sign-in path.

The importance of backups

Maintain an independent backup plan for databases, CMSs and file-based tools. Keep backups outside the service itself and periodically test restoring them.

Application categories and suggested uses

Databases and data storage

PostgreSQL, MySQL, Redis and similar tools store application data. After installation, configure the connection password, internal or public address, access restrictions and backup plan.

Content management systems (CMS)

WordPress, Joomla, Drupal and Ghost suit content websites and publishing. After your first sign-in, change the administrator password, avoid unnecessary plugins and keep up with security updates.

Monitoring tools

Grafana and Uptime Kuma help you observe service status and define alerts. After installation, configure data sources, alert channels and failure thresholds.

Team and automation tools

Mattermost, n8n, MinIO and similar tools often store sensitive data. Check public access, initial passwords, API keys and storage paths immediately after installation.

Install an application from the marketplace

Choose an application and check resources

Select the application and compare its recommended minimum CPU, RAM and disk with your data volume and user count.

Enter passwords and initial settings

Enter the administrator password, username, domain and required variables. Save generated passwords securely; they may not be displayed again after installation.

Deploy and check health

After installation, check the service status and application startup logs. Database errors, permission issues and insufficient RAM usually appear there.

Secure the service and back it up

After the first sign-in, change default passwords, restrict public access and schedule regular backups for important data.
